Proposed Civic Center Square, Plan of Chicago

A drawing by Daniel H. Burnham (1846–1912) for the civic centre of his 1909 'Plan of Chicago' — the landmark city-beautiful document that reshaped Chicago's lakefront, parks, and boulevard system.
