Dilmun Burial Mound Artifacts
c. 2200-1750 BCE (Early Dilmun period)
Grave goods from the great Dilmun tumuli of ancient Bahrain (c. 3000–1800 BC): copper ornaments, stamp seals, ceramics, and bone arrowheads from the maritime civilisation that linked Mesopotamia with the Indus Valley. The Bahrain National Museum's archaeological gallery centres its permanent display on these Dilmun finds, making it one of the principal research collections for the pre-Islamic history of the Persian Gulf.
