Danish Contemporary Installation

Overgaden – Institute of Contemporary Art, on the Christianshavn canal in Copenhagen, is Denmark's state-funded platform for emerging contemporary art. Operating since 1986 without a permanent collection, it stages six to seven exhibitions a year of experimental installation, video, and performance by young Danish and international artists and runs an active residency programme, serving as one of the main entry points into the Nordic contemporary scene.
