A silver dye-bleach print from the 'From the Wind' series (c. 1980) by the Cuban-American photographer Luis Medina (1942–1985). Medina's documentary-style black-and-white photography captured the industrial landscape and Latino communities of Chicago in the late 1970s and 1980s. The Art Institute of Chicago holds a significant body of Medina's work as a key reference collection for American documentary photography of the period.
