Another gelatin silver print by Marilyn Nance from her FESTAC '77 series, 'Crowd at the National Stadium' documents the tens of thousands who filled the Lagos National Stadium during the six-week festival of global Black performing arts in 1977. It is held at the Art Institute of Chicago as part of her extended photographic record of that generation-defining event.
