Lee Miller
Untitled (Architectural Study)
1931
'Untitled (Architectural Study)' is a gelatin silver print by the American-born Surrealist photographer Lee Miller (1907–1977), produced during her Paris years in the late 1930s. A pupil and partner of Man Ray, Miller developed her own Surrealist vocabulary centred on sharp geometric cropping of Parisian buildings and objects. The Art Institute of Chicago holds the work among its early 20th-century photography collection.
