Table with Pink Tablecloth
1964
Richard Artschwager's 'Table with Pink Tablecloth' (1964) is a Formica-on-wood sculpture that deadpan-represents a table with a pink tablecloth in a single piece of printed laminate — at once a table, a painting, and a Pop sculpture. A classic example of Artschwager's deadpan play with representation and the readymade. Art Institute of Chicago.
