Andrea Fraser's 'Official Welcome' (2001) is a 29-minute colour video performance in which Fraser, playing the parts of a museum director, trustee, artist, and patron, delivers a string of actual speeches from art-world events — gradually shedding her clothes. A defining work of institutional-critique performance, held at the Art Institute of Chicago.
