Lucian Freud's 'Two Japanese Wrestlers by a Sink' (1983–1987) is a large oil by the British realist. Two sumo wrestlers observed from a reproduction hang on the artist's studio wall above a sink of cleaning rags and tubes of paint — a picture-within-a-picture that doubles as a meditation on Freud's demanding studio practice.
