Suzanne Duchamp's 'Multiplication Broken and Restored' (1918–1919) is a Dada composition in oil and silver paper: a mechanical diagram of gears, pipes, and phrases breaks apart on the canvas. Suzanne — sister of Marcel Duchamp and wife of Jean Crotti — was one of the key women of Paris Dada. Art Institute of Chicago.
