Pablo Picasso's 'Nude with a Jug' (1922) is a Neoclassical figure painting from his return to solid, Mediterranean classicism after the First World War. A voluminously modelled nude holding a terracotta pitcher recalls a Roman Pompeian fresco. Oil on canvas, Art Institute of Chicago.
