Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller's 'View of the Prater' (c. 1830s) is a small luminous landscape by the great Biedermeier painter, depicting the wooded alleys of Vienna's public park, the Prater, beloved ground of Viennese society. Oil on wood panel, Cleveland Museum of Art.
