Thomas Heatherwick Studio's Vision: Carving Light and Space

The architectural transformation was led by London-based Thomas Heatherwick Studio. Their design approach involved meticulously carving out a spectacular central atrium from the heart of the 42 silo tubes, creating a cathedral-like void that is both monumental and organic. The raw concrete exterior was preserved, honoring the building's industrial past, while new glass insertions and fluid interior curves introduced a modern aesthetic.

The Grand Atrium: A Sculptural Experience

Upon entering, visitors are immediately struck by the immense scale of the central atrium. This six-story void, with its undulating concrete walls and honeycomb-patterned skylights, acts as a colossal sculpture in itself.
