Daegu Art Museum opened May 2011 next to Daegu Stadium, the largest public art museum in southern Korea. 25,000 m² across six main galleries plus an outdoor sculpture park; ~1,900 works.
Regional Art on the National Stage
Built on the legacy of Daegu painter Lee Insung (1912–1950) and the mid-century Daegu School. Hosted Morris Louis's first Korean retrospective (2022) and Kehinde Wiley's first Asian solo show (2023).
