Neon Museum — Las Vegas's Quiet Graveyard of Desert Signs

The Neon Museum in north Las Vegas opened October 2012 to preserve 250+ historic neon signs. Its outdoor "Boneyard" holds retired Strip and casino signs going back to the 1930s. The visitor center reuses the 1961 La Concha Motel lobby by Paul Revere Williams.
Desert City's Visual Language
Las Vegas was the capital of neon sign design from the 1930s through the 1980s. As LED replaced neon, the signs came here.
