Seoul Museum of Craft Art (SeMoCA) opened July 2021 on the former Pungmun Girls' High School grounds near Anguk station — the world's only public craft museum. Ten renovated school buildings hold 20,000 craft objects. Free entry.
A Campus Reborn
The site has royal Joseon history: Prince Yeongeungdaegun's residence, Lady Eom's manor, then Pungmun school. Architects Jang Yoon-gyoo and Unsangdong redistributed the ten buildings into galleries.
